Latitude 46° North - Winemaker Bio Winemaker Chris Dowsett handles all of the winemaking duties of the 1800 case production. Chris has spent over 20 years in the wine industry, both in the vineyards and cellars. At a young age he worked in the family vineyards and winery. His education in Oregon and Australia prepared him for work experiences in California, Oregon and Washington. A six year employment as Assistant Winemaker at Canoe Ridge Vineyard introduced Chris to the people, and vineyards of the Columbia Valley.
